The family behind it
Two generations, one phone number
Dave started Holloway Heating from a spare room on the A6 in 2009 after twenty years with one of the big energy firms. His daughter Sam finished her apprenticeship with him in 2016 and now runs the installs side, while Dave still does most of the servicing round.
We're a small team on purpose: three engineers, one office, and vans that live in Hazel Grove. That means we know the old terraces in Edgeley, the 70s semis in Bramhall and the big Victorian systems in Marple, and what usually goes wrong with each.

FAQ
Good questions

Are your engineers gas-safe registered?
Yes. Every engineer who works on gas in your home is gas-safe registered, and we'll happily show you our ID cards when we arrive. We're also fully insured for every job we take on.
How quickly can you come out for an emergency?
For leaks, no heating or no hot water we usually arrive within two hours, seven days a week, between 7am and 10pm. Care plan customers on Whole Home also get our overnight line.
What's included in the £79 boiler service?
A full visual and safety inspection, flue and combustion analysis, a check of the seals, pressure and controls, cleaning where needed, and a written service record. It's the same price whatever make or age of boiler you have.
Do I need a new boiler or can mine be repaired?
Often it can be repaired, and we'll always tell you honestly. If your boiler is over 12–15 years old and parts are getting scarce, we'll show you the numbers on repair versus replacement so you can decide.
How long does a new boiler installation take?
A like-for-like combi swap is usually done in one day. Moving the boiler or converting from a system with a tank to a combi normally takes two days. We'll keep you with hot water overnight where we can.
Do you offer finance on new boilers?
Yes, we can spread the cost of a new boiler over 12 to 60 months, subject to status. Ask when we send your quote and we'll talk you through the options.
