The line-up

Three chairs.
Three barbers.

Pick your barber when you book, or take whoever's free. Everyone here can do everything, but we've each got the thing we'd do all day if we could.

Chair one

Dom

Skin fades & sharp line-ups

Opened the shop after twelve years cutting in Manchester. Dom's fades are seamless, his razor line-ups are dead straight and he'll talk Stockport County with you until the cows come home.

In since day oneTue to Sat

Chair two

Marek

Scissor cuts & classic styles

Trained in Kraków, been on the Underbanks for six years. If your hair's got any length to it, Marek's your man. Side partings, crops and the kind of scissor-over-comb you don't see much anymore.

Six years with usWed to Sun

Chair three

Lena

Beards & hot towel shaves

Lena turns scruffy beards into something you'll want to show off. Her hot towel shave is the best twenty-five quid you'll spend in Stockport, and she's endlessly patient with nervous first-timers and little ones.

Regulars

Been going to Dom for three years. Best fade in Stockport and he's never once tried to sell me a wax I don't need.

Jamie, Edgeley

Tuesday's my morning. Twelve quid, a brew and a natter with Marek. Proper old-fashioned, the way a barber's should be.

Pat, Heaton Norris

My lad was terrified of clippers. Lena had him laughing in five minutes and now he asks when he's next going.

Sophie, Offerton

Good questions

FAQ

Do I need to book?

No. Walk-ins are welcome every day we're open, and we'll tell you honestly how long the wait is. Booking just guarantees your barber and your time, which helps on Saturdays and Thursday evenings.

How does OAP Tuesday work?

Every Tuesday, anyone 65 or over gets any cut for £12. Just come in, no booking or card needed. Beard trims are £8 on Tuesdays too.

How old do kids need to be?

We cut from about age two. Kids' cuts are for under-12s. Quieter weekday afternoons are best for first cuts, and we keep a booster seat and a box of lollies behind the counter.

How long does a skin fade take?

About 40 minutes, including the razor line-up. A hot towel shave is around 35 minutes, and a cut with beard is roughly an hour.

Where do I park?

There are pay and display car parks a few minutes' walk away in the town centre. Or come by bus or train. The interchange and station are both close by.

Do you take cards?

Cards, phones and cash are all fine. Tips are never expected, though the tip jar does fund the Christmas do.
